Turn right on to the footpath and just before the Waione Street bridge veering right down a slope and through the subway under the Waione Street pipe bridge. Straight ahead and then right on to the stop bank. Follow the stop bank (goes through the middle of Shandon golf course) until it reaches Bracken Street. Cross Bracken Street and then go around the footpath of Sladden Park. Go under the Railway Bridge and then left on the asphalt path onto the stop bank. Follow stop bank to Ewen bridge, cross the bridge using the footpath on the south side. Turn left onto the stop bank heading south. Follow the asphalt path under the Railway Bridge and along the stop bank to the Waione Street pipe bridge. Follow path under the Waione Street pipe bridge continuing south and then along Port Road and the refurbished pathway (Tepua Horo Nuku) to the start of Day\u2019s Bay. The \u00bd marathon Turn Point is outside 603b Marine Parade, Days Bay. Return along Tepua Horo Nuku pathway and Port Road until the roundabout near Hutt Park, turning left back onto Waione Street. Cross the Waione street pipe bridge, turning left onto the Hikoikoi track (where you previously ran at the start). Where the path meets Marine Parade go straight ahead until you turn right onto the track and then along the stop bank to the end of McEwan Park.
